How to Install a Ceiling Fan in a Party Tent

1. Select the type of ceiling fan you want to use. The ceiling fans available for party tents generally range in size from around 12 inches in diameter to 36 inches in diameter. Most are designed to be extra quiet and contain special mounts to attach to the poles of party tents. The size of the fan affects the cost for renting it or purchasing, so take this into consideration as you prepare a budget for the party.

2. Determine the number of fans you need. With the different sizes available, you need to take into account the size of the ceiling fan as well as the size of the tent. A typical party tent is 3,600 square feet to 7,200 square feet; some are even larger.
