How to Clean Drawer Handles

Different types of drawers come with different types of handles used to open and close the drawers. In time, you may notice grime on the drawer handles. This can be caused by dirt that has been transferred from your hands to the drawer handles or simply because the handles are out in the open and exposed to the air in your home.   • Spray bottle
  • White vinegar
  • Lemon juice
  • 2 lint-free cloths

      Add 2 to 3 cups of white vinegar into the spray bottle.

      Pour 1 tbsp. of lemon juice into the bottle.

      Shake the spray bottle for a couple of seconds to mix the white vinegar and lemon juice.

      Spray your homemade cleaner onto a lint-free cloth.

      Wrap the cloth around the drawer handle and wipe both sides of the handle.

      Examine the drawer handle and repeat Steps 4 and 5 if you still see dirt on the handle.

      Wipe the drawer handle with a clean, dry lint-free cloth to dry the handle.
