Step 1
Go online to sites.google.com. If you have a Gmail or Google account, fill out your email and password and click "Sign in."

Sign up for a Google account if you don't have one. Click on "Create an account now."

Complete the short form and review the Terms of Service. Fill in your current email address and fill in your password twice. Select your location, enter the characters in the picture, and click "I accept. Create my account."

Click the "Create new site" button once you've entered Google Sites.

Fill out the page with your site name and an optional site description. Click the button to specify if you'll share the Web page with everyone in the world or only with people you indicate. Click a button to choose a theme layout, type the code shown, then click the "Create site" button.

Click the "Edit page" button on the top right of your draft Web page. Edit your page by clicking on the screen and typing into the title box and main text box.

Format your Web page. Select your text and use the buttons on the top left toolbar to edit your font size, format your words in bold or italics, or create links.

Insert pictures, video or other elements to your Web page. Click on the "Insert" link on the toolbar on the top left and scroll down to the element you want to add to your web page to add it.

Click on the "Save" button on the top right of the page periodically, and when you're finished making your Web page.
