    • Scrub brush
    • 1/4-cup bleach
    • 1/2-gallon water
    • Spray bottle
    • 2 teaspoons tea tree oil
    • 2 cups of water
    1. Removing Mold From Furniture

        Remove any cushions from the furniture and set aside.

        Scrub the furniture using a scrub brush and water to remove as much mold as possible.

        Mix 1/4-cup of bleach with 1/2-gallon of water in a spray bottle.

        Spray a small amount of the bleach solution on the furniture in an inconspicuous spot to make sure it does not cause colors to fade.

        Spray the bleach solution onto the furniture and allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

        Use a scrub brush to remove any remaining mold, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

      Removing Mold From Cushions

        Mix 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil with 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. You can double or triple this recipe if you have a lot of cushions that need to be cleaned.
