How to Make Vinegar & Water Cleaners

Vinegar is a great natural cleaner. What's more, it's inexpensive, nontoxic and readily available. Make this effective vinegar-based window cleaner at home.

Things You'll Need

• White distilled vinegar
• Water
• 16-ounce spray bottle

Instructions

1. Make certain that the bottle is empty and completely clean before beginning.

2. Pour eight ounces of warm water into the bottle.

3. Add eight ounces of white distilled vinegar, then shake well.

4. Spray windows with water-vinegar solution and wipe clean with a cloth, newspaper or paper towel.

Tips & Warnings

• This can be done with a smaller or larger bottle; simply maintain the one-to-one ratio.

• Do not use any vinegar besides white distilled vinegar. Colored vinegars may leave residue behind on windows.
