How to Use OxiClean to Clean Wood Fence Boards
OxiClean is a popular cleanser that is safe for use on a variety of surfaces, both inside and outside the home. OxiClean can be used as a daily cleaner, a laundry detergent and a stain remover. Things You'll Need
- 1/4 scoop of OxiClean powder
- 4 cups warm water
- Bucket
- Broom
- Scrub brush
- Hose

Make the OxiClean solution by combining 1/4 scoop of OxiClean powder with four cups of warm water in a bucket. This recipe can be doubled or tripled to clean larger fences.

Mix the solution thoroughly using a broom handle; make sure that the OxiClean powder has dissolved completely.

Dip the bristled side of the broom into the bucket, and brush the OxiClean solution onto the fence. Be generous in application, and apply the solution evenly.

Allow the solution to sit on the fence for 30 minutes.

Use a scrub brush on any tough stains, and then rinse the fence thoroughly using a hose.

Tips & Warnings
The OxiClean solution will remain active for six hours. Any unused solution can be dumped in a garbage disposal or flushed down a toilet.
The OxiClean solution can also be sprayed on to a fence using a garden sprayer.
Do not use boiling water to make OxiClean solution.
Do not store OxiClean solution in a sealed plastic container.
