Place the short, military-style jacket over the long, white, ruffled shirt. The jacket should be half the length of the shirt.

Roll your hair in small hair rollers. Place rollers symmetrically around the head. Pull hair over the sides of the rollers in order to conceal them. Place baby powder all over hair.

If you do not have long hair, buy a wig and follow the same steps with the hot rollers. If you are going to be wearing a wig, use bobby pins to attach the wig to your hair.
For a woman, a boot-cut high heeled shoe will add some glamor to this costume. For a man, a black dress shoe will look appropriate.
