Step 1
Secretly start to sneak vegetables into your childs diet at every meal. If your child knows what you are doing in the beginning the task will be near impossible. Whether they can taste the veggies or not if they know what you are doing they may think they can. The best way to sneak vegetables into your childs diet is by distracting them while your in the kitchen. Offer a coloring book or movie in the den or play room. Another idea would be to put together a box of items for your child to play with only during meal preparation times.
-
Step 2
Get creative! Most children are super picky eaters. If anything green turns up on their plate their little noses turn up and the tears start to fly. Burgers, pastas, and fun notoriously health challenged foods are the favorites! Work with that in mind. Veggies chopped extremely fine or pureed can be tossed into sauces and burgers without anyone’s notice. Carrots, along with other vegetables, can be placed in cakes and deserts without a little ones radar being set off as well.
-
Step 3
Offer vegetable and fruit juice mixed drinks as often as possible. These can either be made at home or purchased. Another benefit to these types of juices is that they can also be frozen in popsicle molds and given as an after meal treat or snack!
-
Step 4
Purchase several jars of baby food. As sad as it is everyone has those days where time is just not on their side. This is where the baby food comes in handy. If you only have time to make something quick dash a bit from the jars into the mixture. Surprisingly lighter colored baby food cant even be detected in chicken noodle soup!

Step 5
Offer healthy foods during every meal. Even though you have found how to sneak vegetables into your childs diet don’t forgo the learning experience. If they are offered and your little one sees everyone else eating them eventually they will too. However you won’t have to worry as much when they don’t if you sneak vegetables into your childs diet at every meal.
