2. Being flexible with your time can also help you to receive the lowest fare. Sometimes there are better days to travel and you will find those are times where there is more room on the plane. One day can make a difference and save you hundreds of dollars.

3. Use websites that can help you search across multiple websites all at once. Two of my favorites are igougo.com & bing.com. The first website igougo.com helps with searching multiple travel websites at once. Bing.com is good to use to see how the trending of the price of the airline ticket is currently running. It can tell you if the current price is good and if to buy now or wait.

4. Don't forget about the smaller airlines. Sometimes they are not published on the travel websites so you may have to go to their individual website to see what their fares are. They can have amazing deals that will help you get where you want to go.
