There are many things make a first date that can make you nervous. It can be the excitement of getting to know someone. Perhaps you are nervous about if the chemistry will be there. Well before you get to those things to be nervous about a first date, you need to get dressed. As the contents of your closet start to pile up on the floor of your bedroom the anxiety of being able to dress for a first date starts to grow. OK, calm down and take a step back. Finding how to dress for a first date from the clothes that are in your closet is a simple process. You bought these clothes because you like them. Now it is time to put them together to look your best and knock your date out of his chair.

  1. Step 1

    Start with a pair of dark denim jeans for the bottoms to wear on your first date. The most flattering jeans are usually a mid rise boot cut jean. Dark denim will make the outfit you choose to dress for a first date with be both casual and dressy.

  2. Step 2

    Put on a silk of satin tailored top in a color that makes you feel your best. Every woman has one color that when she puts it on she knows that she is looking her best. By wearing this color on your first date, you will put your confidence at an all time high and prepare you to have a great night.

  3. Step 3

    Wear a pair of 2 and a half inch heel shoes. You can choose between heels or boots depending on the weather and what you will be doing on your first date. The slight lift of this smaller heel will help you to look taller and your legs to look more toned.
