Have a Great Bazaar Booth (make Money at a Craft Sale Booth)

A little extra cash is always nice for the holidays, and having a craft booth is a fun way to earn it. Here are some ideas to keep money coming in, and make it worth your time.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start off with a list of what you want to make. You want to focus on three areas: Inexpensive, eye-catching, and easy to make. Make items in three categories: under 5.00, between 5 and 15 dollars, and over 15.00. Make more items for the bottom two categories, especially if this is your first craft booth.

  2. Step 2

Think about your customers. Are you doing the booth at a fall carnaval where there will be lots of kids? At a church with mostly elderly people? Try to gear your items toward the people you will have as customers.

  3. Step 3

Try to have a variety of items. The most popular things at craft fairs tend to be jewelry and homade candles and soaps. Try to think outside of the box and have several different unique items.

  4. Step 4

Have a gift basket or other item to give away during the day, and give one free raffle ticket to every person who comes to your booth as a "draw". If you have a body product or baked good, have a free sample for the customers to try.

  5. Step 5

Make your display eye-catching and interesting. Use wooden crates or other shelving to create levels.
