Things You'll Need:
- SOME TIME AT HOME
- HEATING PAD
- HOT TEA
-
Step 1
GAS FROM STOMACH BLOATING CAN BE VERY HURTFUL, AS WELL AS SO UNCOMFORTABLE.
SEVERAL STEPS YOU CAN TAKE, WILL HELP RELIEVE A LOT OF OF THE DISCOMFORT.
FIRST, IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DO THIS AND HAVE TIME, USE A MEDIUM HEAT SETTING ON A HEATING PAD.
This will help break the gas up in your stomach. It is also very soothing too. Lay down for a while and place the heating pad directly on your stomach, some times a little pressure can be added by placing a pillow on top of the heating pad. Don't set the heating pad to hot so that you will not burn yourself, or make it uncomfortable. -
Step 2
ANOTHER SUGGESTION THAT WORKS.
Massage your stomach gently. Easy gently long strokes, or simple kneading effect. All seem to help as they will dislodge large pockets of gas and break them up, EASIER FOR YOU TO EXPEL.
Next drink something nice and hot, not scolding. Tea is good, again this is heat and it will help break the gas, into smaller pockets. Also hot jello is good and works for me.
NOW WE ARE GOING TO THINK ABOUT EXPELLING THE GAS. OK, TRY THIS AND YOU WILL BE SUPRISED HOW IT WORKS. WHEN YOU ARE STANDING UP, REACH DOWN AND GRASP YOU ANKLES AND WALK AROUND LIKE A DUCK, THIS ACTUALLY FORCES THE GAS OUT OF YOU RECTUM, JUST LIKE PASSING GAS. -
Step 3
OTHER SUGGEST, HOW NOT TO GET GAS IN THE FIRST PLACE. If beans bother you, other veggies, caffinated drinks, or other specifics, cut down on them.
OTHER TEMPORARY RELIEF COMES FROM GAS BLOATING TABLETS, LIKE TUMS, ROLAIDS, AND MYLANTA.
Keep these on hand if you are at work or school, etc. and you can not follow the other recommened ideas to use if you were at home.
