Winter can be one of the most challenging seasons for most people due to the extreme cold and harsh elements. Many people face the problem of waking up cold and remaining cold all throughout the day. Luckily, there are ways to keep warm in the winter.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use your home's heat to your fullest advantage. Check every window and door in your house and make sure it is well insulated. In case of a potential broken furnace, have a space heater or firewood nearby for a fireplace.

  2. Step 2

Use space heaters. These can be life savers if your live in a drafty house!

  3. Step 3

Always wear layers. Wearing layers is a great way to keep your body warm throughout the day. If you get too hot you can simply take one layer off.

  4. Step 4

Feeling frozen from outside and need a quick way to warm up? Drink a warm liquid. Coffee and hot cocoa do the body good in these situations.

  5. Step 5

    Use an electric blanket.

  6. Step 6

If there are rooms you are not using in the house, close the doors. Heat can escape through open doors, so keep the heat in the room you're residing in as much as possible!

  7. Step 7

If all else fails, grab your significant other and cuddle up with them. Sharing body heat can be the easiest and best way to keep warm in the winter.
