    Lots of people choose to adopt from different countries other than the USA. The things you need to do when looking to adopt a newborn from another country is to pick a country and then pick an adoption agency. Different countries have different requirements for adopting children. Some countries participate in hague which means that they have stricter rules about children. The countries that participate in hague are Mexico,Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Philippines, China. The easiest country to adopt from internationally is Ethiopia. The will bring the child to the USA for you. The cost for an international adoption starts at $15,000.

  2. Step 2

    People who want to adopt a newborn from the USA will usually have a long wait for adopting from a private agency. The cost is usually around $30,000 for a private adoption of a newborn.

  3. Step 3

    You can also adopt children by becoming a foster parent this is the cheapest route. You may get a child that has special needs if you adopt a child through the foster care system. Whatever route you choose every child deserves a loving home.
