Have your feet checked once a year unless you are having problems, then see your doctor as soon as possible.

Never walk around barefoot.

Break in new shoes slowly and dont push it all at once.

Keep your toe nails trimmed at or right below the skin.

When wearing socks make sure they are clean and have good padding in them.

Wash and dry your feet and toes everyday. Make sure to clean between your toes.

Wear shoes that fit well

Shake out your shoes before putting them on. This will reduce trauma to your feet if you have a rock or anything in your shoe.

Check often for cuts or blisters and take care of them as soon as possible.

If you ever notice swelling or lost feeling in your feet see your doctor immediately.
