making homemade dog treats are simple, and a good way to keep your pets healthy. My 3 dogs love these peanut butter treats, they hang around the kitchen when I make them, waiting for there piece. :D

I have 3 dogs that love them, I have a fox terrier, a rat terrier and a Yorkshire terrier. They are always hanging around the kitchen to get these special treats.

They don't last long in my house, there always begging for them :D

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups white flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 350 degree oven preheated
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    add all the wet ingredients in a bowl mix well.

  2. Step 2

    Add one cup of flour at a time , while constantly mixing.

  3. Step 3
    your dogs will look like my dogs, just waiting for the treats :D

    after adding the 4 cups total of flour , take out of bowl and divide into smaller sections, roll out dough flat and cut into squares with a knife. put into a 350 degree oven for 30 min , remove them from pan. Let them cool then the pups can enjoy :D

Tips & Warnings
  • if you have smaller dogs cut them into smaller pieces.
  • when I make them I make around 60 little squares.
  • I would keep the treats in a zip-lock bag and they should stay fresh for about 3-4 weeks.
