Sugar scrubs are good for dry rough skin on your elbows and heels but can be used anywhere on your body but your face. This delicious smelling sugar scrub is fun for people of all ages to make. These also make the best gifts or stocking stuffers.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Gather everything you will need.
    2 3/4oz Sugar (granulated)
    2 Dessert spoonful olive oil
    1/2 Teaspoon Almond essence
    Small container with lid
    Mixing bowl

  2. Step 2

Your first step is to mix the sugar, olive oil and almond essence all together in your bowl. Make sure you mix well.

  3. Step 3

Then spoon your mix into the container and put the lid on tight. Wipe off your container and decorate it any way you like. Paint on the lid or place stickers to personalize the container. You can also write on the container the instructions and advise not to use on the face, or do not eat.

  4. Step 4

You can use this before you take a bath and gently rub in circular movements on your rough patches. I hope you enjoy this recipe!

on 11/2/2009 Great job, love the idea of a homemade sugar scrub.
Not only for rough spots, it helps exfoliate microscopically dry skin ;-)
