How to Make a Superman / Clark Kent Halloween Costume That You'll Actually Enjoy Wearing

There are a lot of guys like me, who dislike the idea of dressing up in a costume for a Halloween party. Many men just don't like being outside of their comfort zone. There is a simple solution, however, that will let you have a great costume, but not feel uncomfortable in the standard costume fare that typically includes things that guys don't like to wear - at least in public. This Halloween, why not go as Superman's alter ego - Clark Kent.

Instructions

1. First, start with the base. You can typically find a T-Shirt with a Superman logo in clothing stores. Failing that, search the Internet for a source.

2. Second, pick a suit from your closet. Super..er, Clark usually uses a dark blue suit with a white shirt.

3. Third, wear the suit with the shirt open revealing the Superman logo underneath. Use hair gel to get that Superman curl going on your forehead.

4. For the final touch, add glasses. I usually use the glasses that they hand out at 3-D movies with the lens punched out. They are so unrealistic that they have a "comic book" feel to them - especially with no lens.
