Things You'll Need:
- Foam-filled bouquet holder
- Large artificial rose leaves
- Artificial baby's breath flowers
- Artificial roses
- Thin ribbon
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Take a large rose leaf and gently press the stem into the lowest strip of foam. Repeat the process until you have created a ring of leaves around the lower portion of foam. No foam should show through the leaves.
-
Step 2
Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut the stems of your baby's breath to 3 inches long. Gently press a cluster of baby's breath about midway up the foam so that the flowers overlap, but do not cover the leaves. Repeat the process until you have created a ring of baby's breath around the bouquet holder.
-
Step 3
Place a cluster of baby's breath into the top middle portion of the foam. Your bouquet should now look rounded and mostly filled, with only small patches of foam showing.
-
Step 4
Place a rose next to your bouquet and eyeball how long the stem should be to stick into the foam securely without causing the flower to sit too high. Cut the stem with scissors. Gently press the rose into one of the bare patches in your bouquet. Repeat the process until all patches are filled.
-
Step 5
Balance out your bouquet by adding a few roses to the middle and lower sides. Try to create a generally rounded and balanced shape. Use a sharp pair of scissors to trim any pieces of baby's breath that stick out too wildly.
-
Step 6
Cut a long piece of ribbon and tie it into a small bowl around the middle of the holder, right below the foam. Trim the ends of the ribbon as needed.
