How to Make Children's Towel Bath Wraps
When your child is playing and splashing in a bubble bath, it can sometimes be hard to get him out of the tub because he is having so much fun. You can now add to his fun experience by providing him with a warm and cozy gift, a bath towel wrap. When choosing a towel for your child's wrap, be sure to get a print that she will love, such as her favorite cartoon character or her favorite color. By doing so, she will enjoy wrapping herself up in her towel.

Wrap a measuring tape around the widest area of your child's body to get his correct measurements. You don't have to measure any areas that will not be covered by the towel. After measuring your child's width, you should also measure his length, or the length of his body that you want the towel to cover.

Visit the "Bed and Bath" section of your local department store to select a large towel that you would like to convert into a towel wrap. Be sure that the towel's length and width meets the measurement requirements from Step 1.
Purchase some velcro for your towel wrap. The velcro will likely be located in the "Sewing" or "Arts and Crafts" department. Make sure that the velcro length meets the specifications from Step 1.

Lay your towel horizontally on a flat working surface.

Cut two long strips of velcro (one strip of the "bristled" side and one strip of the "hairy" side) that is the same length as the towel.

Cover the back of one of the strips of velcro with velcro glue. Press the velcro, glue side down, onto one of the edges the towel. Cover the back of the other strip of velcro with velcro glue. Press the the piece of velcro to the other edge of the towel.

Allow the glue to sit and dry for about 30 minutes. Once the glue has dried, your child can begin using his towel.
