Step 1
Use the telescoping handle to attach to the vacuum hose to access hard-to-reach places, such as the ceiling, under beds and behind furniture. The attachment snaps into the vacuum hose on the back of the vacuum.
-
Step 2
Attach the reach hose that is available on some models to give you more hose for high places that you need to vacuum. Most hoses stretch to 5 or 6 feet. The hose is good for vacuuming stairs without carrying the vacuum cleaner along to each step. Keep the vacuum on the bottom of the stairs and work your way upward.
-
Step 3
Use the floor brush that is available on some models for hardwood floors and getting under low furniture. Attach the floor brush to the telescoping handle. If you need more of a reach, attach the reach hose to the telescoping handle.
-
Step 4
Use the smaller dusting brush for vacuuming tables and delicate surfaces that you don't want to scratch. Attach the brush to the telescoping handle or to the vacuum hose.
-
Step 5
Attach the furniture nozzle to the vacuum hose or the telescope handle to vacuum the furniture and car upholstery. Press the nozzle firmly on the furniture to get all of the dust and dirt.
-
Step 6
Use the crevice tool to get into hard-to-reach corners and places that the vacuum cleaner or floor brush cannot reach. Attach the tool to the vacuum hose or telescoping handle and guide it along corners and wall edges.
-
Step 7
Use the pet-hair cleaning tool that is available on some models for cleaning up pet hair off furniture and bedding. Attach the tool to the telescoping handle or to the vacuum hose to use.
