Studying the brain can be a very interesting endeavor. However, there are certain disadvantages to learning everything out of a textbook. Making a brain model can be just the thing to get the creative side of your own brain working and ready to absorb information. Here are some simple instructions for making your own brain model.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Newspaper
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Bowl for mixing
  • Brain mold (available at local craft and hobby stores)
  1. Step 1

Pour two cups of flour and two cups of water into the bowl. Add about a teaspoon of salt to the mix. Then mix them well. If you need to, add more flour to thicken the consistency.

  2. Step 2

Pour the mix into the brain mold. Most brain molds have two halves.

  3. Step 3

Leave the mix out in the air. After a while the flour should harden and you will have two sides to your brain. Take them out of the molds and label them accordingly.
