1
Search for a doctor using an online Yellow pages website such as Yellowpages.com to find a doctor in your area.

2
Check out the doctor's website, if the doctor has one. If he does, he'll typically have his experience, specialties and occasionally references on the site.
-
-
3
Check and see if the doctor belongs to a group of doctors or organizations. If so, the website of the network may also have information about the doctor as well.
-
4
Use a search engine such as Yahoo! or Google and enter your doctor's name as the search query. Odds are that several websites will pop up with comments about this doctor.
-
5

Tips & Warnings
Try to search as many places as you can for information about your doctor so you can make an informed decision. Wherever possible, ask questions about a rating or a description of the doctor through a forum or group-type website.
There may be more then one person with your doctor's name on the Internet (even other doctors). Be sure to look for any specific information that you know is true about the doctor you're researching, such as location, specialties, hospitals or hours.
