Browse magazines or Web sites to find bouquets that you like. You don't have to limit your search to only wedding bouquets; look at home décor magazines and garden magazines for ideas on what types of flowers you want to use. Once you have chosen flowers you like, you will want to find pictures of them used in bouquets.

Buy an assortment of silk flowers to use in your homemade bridal bouquet that match the colors and theme of your wedding. You can find faux flowers that look like real flowers in craft stores, such as Michaels. Select individual flowers as opposed to a group of flowers, as they are easier to arrange. If you can't find flowers that have green stems, wrap them in green floral tape to make them look more authentic.

Group the flowers together, arranging them into a bouquet. Don't hold the flowers so that they are even on the bottom, but instead, move the buds of the flowers so that all of them are even and next to complimentary colored flowers. Cut the excess off the bottom of the stems using scissors or wire cutters.

Hold the flowers tightly in one hand, and wrap the floral wire tightly around the center of the bouquet. Then, wrap the wire around the bottom of the bouquet so that it is secure in two places.

Identify the part of the bouquet that will be placed against you when you walk down the aisle. Then, place it gently on a flat surface. Place the end of the ribbon at the bottom of that side, and wrap the ribbon tightly around once. Stick a pearl top straight pin into the center of the ribbon on the side of the bouquet that will be placed against you. Make sure the pin pushes into one of the stems of the flowers so it remains secure. Continue to wrap the ribbon around the stems, leaving no space between each layer. Push pearl top straight pins up the stem of the bouquet in a row, securing the ribbon in place as you go.

Tips & Warnings
If you are unable to secure the straight pins into the flower stems, use hot glue to attach the ribbon. If you still want the pearl adornment, you can glue small pearls on as well.
Store your bouquets in a safe, clean place, covering them with a cloth to keep dust off them. Because the faux flowers are made of fabric, they get dirty easily and can stain.
