If you are new to crunches, start out by doing just 50-100 per work out. Work yourself up to 100-200 per day, then 200-300 per day, etc. You will find that the more you work out, the more crunches you will be able to do. Crunches are crucial to eliminating belly fat. Improve you diet by eating right and staying away from junk food. Consuming processed sugar increases bloating and is just really bad for you in general. Substitute sugar and candy bars for fruit and protein bars. One thing that you should increase in your diet is fiber . fiber will keep your bowels regular , thus decreasing bloating. Foods that are high in fiber include apples , oatmeal , bran cereal , and brown rice.

Avoid drinking alcohol . Beer and other alcoholic beverages contain tons of calories. These calories generate stubborn body fat. If you are going to drink , I recommend you have a glass of wine. Wine is low in calories and beneficial to your overall health.
