Step 1
Go to the Clickbank Marketplace section of the Clickbank Affiliate Program website and search for the type of product that you would like to sell. You can use keywords to help you narrow down your search. It's a good idea to choose a product that aligns with your personal interests. Once you have found a couple of items that look interesting, check out the gray numbers below the product listing. There are a few numbers that you need to pay particular attention to in order to tell whether or not it would be profitable to sell the product in the Clickbank Affiliate Program.
-
Step 2
The first important number is the "Total $/sale" number. This number tells you the total amount of money that the customer will be charged for their purchase you need to look at this number and compare it with the product that you plan to advertise. Only choose the product, if it seems to offer good value to the customer for the amount that the seller is charging for it.
-
Step 3
Next, look at the "%/sale" number. This number tells you how big your cut of the money is a s a percentage of the "Total $/sale" figure. You may not want to put as much work into the Clickbank Affiliate Program for a product that is only offering to give you 20% of the sales price.
-
Step 4
Finally, look at the "Grav" number. "Grav" stands for gravity, and this number tells you how many members of the Clickbank Affiliate Program have sold that particular item in the past 30 days. This number is useful because it will give you a sense of how interested people have been lately in buying the product.
