Barack Obama has made history as the first african american president of the United States of America. If you would like to send Mr. Obama a letter to congratulate him or ask him a question, then you are in luck, contacting the president may be easier than you think. Barack Obama is dedicated to making his administration one of the most acessable administrations in American history.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    For your first step you will of course need to write or type up your letter. Take a few minutes to think about exactly what you would like to say to Mr. Obama. Some examples of things you may want to write to him about are : Suggestions, questions, congratulations, thank you, critisisms, autograph request, etc. etc.

  2. Step 2

    After you are finished writing you letter it is time to send it out. If hand wrote or typed up your letter and wish to send it out by U.S. mail then you will need to send it to the following address :

    1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW
    Washington , DC 20500

    If you would like to send your letter to him over the web , you can contact him directly through the following address Whitehouse.gov/contact . You may also send him a letter to his myspace account which is , myspace.com/barackobama.

  3. Step 3

    If you sent your letter by U.S. mail , You should receive a response within 3 - 6 weeks . You will recieve a much faster response by trying to contact him through the internet.
