Lice are tiny parasitic insects that quickly spread through contact with an infected person. This is why lice is so common in daycares and schools. Most products to treat lice are harsh with chemicals, but there are natural remedies that can actually be used to treat lice and prevent it from returning.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Add 4 Drops of Thyme Oil to a tablespoon of your regular shampoo and lather in the hair and scalp for about 5 minutes. Rinse out with warm water, and repeat 1-2 times each day.

  2. Step 2

Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and warm water then rinse through the scalp. After rinsing it through the hair, put on a shower cap and wait 15 minutes before rinsing the hair out with warm water. Repeat this once every 1-2 days until the lice are gone.

  3. Step 3

Take Garlic supplements to both get rid of lice, and prevent them from reattaching themselves after you get rid of them. Lice hate the taste of garlic, which gets into the blood supply. You can also just eat more garlic in your diet instead of taking it in supplemental form.
