Creamers are an excellent option to serve your guests with their coffee instead of the usual milk. Of course, it is possible to have a spill and end up with some coffee creamer in your carpet. There is no need to panic, however. There is an easy way to get the creamer out of the carpet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Baby wipe
  • Club soda
  • Paper towel
  • Ammonia
  • Water
  • Bucket
  • White towel
  1. Step 1

Wipe the creamer up with a baby wipe. The baby wipe will work to absorb the creamer if the stain is fresh. It will also allow dry creamer stains to stick to it when you rub the baby wipe in to the carpet.

  2. Step 2

Douse the creamer stain with club soda if it is not coming up with the baby wipe. Wait five minutes and then use a paper towel to blot the area. The stain and club soda should come up and stick to the paper towel.

  3. Step 3

Pour half a cup of ammonia in a bucket. Add half a gallon of water and mix. Pour this mixture over the creamer stain if you were unsuccessful with the club soda. Allow the ammonia mixture to sit for ten minutes and then soak up the stain and ammonia mixture with a white towel.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your creamer stain is still wet, you can pour some salt over it. The salt will absorb the stain. Vacuum the salt up when everything dries.
  • Don't give up if one method doesn't work to remove the stain. You may need to try two or three before you get the entire stain up.
