Get everything you need! First you're going to need some nylon netting, with seemed edges and weight at the bottom to prevent the net from rising on impact with the ball. Get some poles as well. You can use poles from an old volleyball or badminton set. Either works. If you don't have an old volleyball or badminton set, feel free to pick up some 10 foot aluminum poles from your local Home Depot or Lowe's.

Build the golf net! To do this, begin by drilling holes in the top of the poles at the 12, 3 and 6 o'clock positions. Screw some eye screws into these six holes. You can use any old zip tie to connect the top net grommet hole to the inside eye screw of each pole.
Now, zip tie the rest of the golf netting to the poles along the seams, but be sure to leave enough slack to allow for movement created by the impact of the golf ball.
The final step is to prepare four lines of standard quality rope about 20 feet long each. At the end of each line, tie a knot in the eye screws at the twelve and six o'clock positions.
Drive the poles deep into the ground. Make sure there is enough net slack so the ball can drop softly to the ground after making contact with your golf net.
