Is your water pressure from your shower head lacking? Does it take you forever just to rinse the shampoo from your hair? If so, you may have a clogged shower head. With some simple supplies and bit of effort you can successfully clean and remove mineral buildup that can be inhibiting the water pressure from your shower head. Regularly address the issue of a clogged shower head and you will have better water pressure, guaranteed.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Fill a plastic sandwich bag with white vinegar.

  2. Step 2

    Place the bag over the shower head so that it is completely submerged in the vinegar.

  3. Step 3

    Attach the bag to the shower head with a rubber band.

  4. Step 4

    Let the shower head soak in the vinegar solution for thirty minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Remove the rubber band and vinegar bag.

  6. Step 6

    Poke a needle into the spray holes of the shower head to remove mineral blockage.

  7. Step 7

    Turn the shower on and allow hot water to spray for five minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • A tooth pick will also work to clean out the spray holes.
