It's very popular now to paint your face. Notice the fans in the stands during the weekend with their faces decorated? Here are step by step lessons for a simple face costume.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start with a clean face. Moisturize and put foundation and concealer to make the face that you are working on one even color.

  2. Step 2

Lay a playing card over the area of the eye that you are going to decorate. Mark the corners with a white eye liner pencil. Remove the card and draw a card outline with the white eye liner pencil. Next, use white eye shadow and fill inside the lines of the playing card. Use a black eye liner pencil or liquid eye liner to mark the edge of the rectangular playing card.

  3. Step 3

Use a red lip liner pencil to draw on hearts on your face/playing card. Use red eye shadow to fill in the hearts and a fuschia color on top of that.
Line each heart with black gel eye liner. You want it to look 3-D. Draw a A with the black eye liner, too.

  4. Step 4

Put a little extra blush on your cheeks in the check area.

Make the lips all the same color of your face with concealer. Use pressed powder on top of that. Use a red lip pencil to make the shape of a heart. Fill in with bright red lipstick.

  5. Step 5

Use smoky gray eye shadow on the eye that does not have the playing card.
Use black eye liner on the top and bottom lid. Fill in eye shadow with brown eye shadow and dark mascara or a false eyelash.

The eye with the card needs to be light so use a mascara primer or real light color to have it blend in with the card.
