Things You'll Need
- 5 to 10 normal sized apples
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 5 to 10 popsicle sticks
- 1/2 cup of chopped peanuts
- 50 caramels, or a 14-ounce package of caramel
Instructions
-
-
1
Place the caramels and water in a microwave-safe bowl.
-
2
Microwave on medium for two and a half to four minutes stirring after one minute, or until caramels are melted completely. If you melt the caramels on the stove, put the caramels and water in a medium-sized saucepan over a medium flame. Don’t stop stirring until the caramels are completely melted.

3
Insert the popsicle sticks about three-quarters into the stem of each apple.
-
4
Dip your apples, while holding the popsicle sticks, into the caramel until they are completely covered. Let each apple drip the extra caramel off so it doesn't make a mess over the bowl.
-
5
Set the dipped apples on a platter with wax paper that has been greased with butter. This will keep the apples from sticking to the platter. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on them if you would like.
-
6
Refrigerate the apples for one to one and half hours before serving them.
