Remove your seeds from the freezer. Keep each type of seed separate. Set aside your seeds until they return to room temperature.

    • 2

Layer three pieces of paper towel together and add just enough water to moisten the towels. Put 25 seeds of one type on the paper towels.

    • 3

Roll up the seeds in the paper towels and put them in a plastic bag. Place them in a warm area of your kitchen.

    • 4

Repeat the process with your other types of seeds. Make sure you only put one type of seed into each paper towel so you can identify the seeds later.

    • 5

Inspect your seeds each day for germination. Your seeds should begin germination in the paper towels.

    • 6

Plant the seeds. Once seedlings begin to appear, select the area where you would like to plant your seeds. Plant the seeds to a depth of 1 inch for larger seeds, ½ inch for medium sized seeds and ¼ inch for smaller seeds.
