How to Use a LG Washer
LG manufactures several washing machine models for home use. The models have many differences, including machine capacity, size, top or front load doors and color. Though there are differences between models, the basic operation of each machine is similar. LG washers have multiple wash cycle options, allowing you to wash any type of clothing according the cleaning recommendations on the label. Load the laundry into the washer, taking care not to pack it tightly. Packing the clothes tightly may prevent the drum from spinning and cause an error during the wash cycle.

Pull out the dispenser on the front of the machine, pour the detergent into the liquid detergent cup and slide the dispenser back into the machine. There are slots available for liquid chlorine bleach, fabric softener and prewash detergent, if you choose to use these products.

Press the "On/Off" button on the control panel of the washer to turn on the machine.

Turn the cycle knob to your desired cycle. The settings for the cycle you chose will show in the LCD display.

Change the settings for your cycle by pressing the cycle settings buttons. The available buttons are "Wash/Rinse," "Spin Speed," "Soil Level" and "Beeper."

Press the "Start/Pause" button to begin the wash cycle. The door will lock at the start of the wash cycle.

Press the "Start/Pause" button during operation to pause the wash cycle. The door will unlock and you can add or remove laundry from the machine as needed.
