1
Inspect the various types of Hitachi massagers available. Smaller Hitachi massagers designed for the neck, feet or temples are priced in the $30 range, while larger Hitachi massagers for shoulders and back are priced between $50 and $80.
-
2
Purchase the Hitachi massager that best suits your needs. Be sure to purchase batteries as well, as they are not included in the box. Most Hitachi massagers use two C-Cell batteries, but double check the specifications to be certain that you have purchased the correct battery.
-
-
3
Insert the batteries into your Hitachi massager. Be sure they have been properly placed in the correct position, as your massager will not power up until the batteries are correctly in place.
-
4
Turn on your Hitachi massager. You will know it is working when you hear a vibrating sound.
-
5
Place the Hitachi massager directly on the affected area.
-
6
Roll the tip of the massager on the affected area in a circular motion. Use as much pressure as is comfortable, but be careful to avoid too much pressure, which could cause further injury or muscle strain.
-
