This is a very large praline.
Give it as a gift or keep some for yourself and share it with a friend!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Gather your ingredients:

    (1) Cup of pecan halves
1/2 Cup of butter (NOT MARGARINE)
    1/2 Cup of granulated sugar
1/2 Cup of packed light brown sugar
    (1) Tablespoon of light corn syrup
    (1) Teaspoon of vanilla

  2. Step 2

Line an 8 inch pan with aluminum foil.
Extend the foil beyond the edges of the pan.
    Butter the foil lightly.
Again, do not use margarine. This recipe will only turn out well if you use real butter.

  3. Step 3

In a medium saucepan, combine the pecans, butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar and syrup.
Over medium heat, bring the combine ingredients to a boil.
For (5) minutes (or until the mixture turns a golden brown) allow the ingredients to boil, stir constantly.
Rempve from heat and stir in your vanilla.

  4. Step 4

Pour the mixture into the pan that you have already prepared.
    Spread the liquid evenly.
Cool completely on a wire rack.

Using the foil as handles, remove the praline from the pan.
    Peel off the foil.

    Enjoy!
