You can put a spin to snack trays by using paper fortune tellers to separate small snacks such as peanuts, almonds, M&Ms and other goodies that you set out. An inventive way to serve a few guests at your house; try this snack tray for a party play! With such creative displays, it is really hard for guests to say no to whatever snack you serve.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stock paper
  • Snacks
  • Food tray
  1. Step 1

Purchase 12-by-12 inch stock paper. There are hundreds of varieties with different patterns and prints at your local scrapbooking store or stationary store. You want something that is a heavier weight.

  2. Step 2

Create a triangle by folding the sheets diagonally and unfold. Do the same on the opposite diagonal.

  3. Step 3

Form a smaller square by folding in all corners towards the center.

  4. Step 4

Flip the square over so that the folds are facing down. Continue to fold the corners in towards the center to create an even smaller square.

  5. Step 5

Fold the square in half horizontally to create a rectangle. The folds should be on the outside. Unfold and fold the square in half vertically.

  6. Step 6

Slip your thumbs and forefinger into the pocket flaps. Press all four fingers towards the center point of the fortune teller creating four points.

  7. Step 7

All four points act as legs and are positioned point-side down. Rest a few paper fortune tellers on each food tray.

  8. Step 8

Fill each pocket to the rim with your favorite snacks or candy and enjoy!
