Have you ever wondered why some sink fixtures look so good and others don't? Learn how to keep your sink fixtures looking great every day.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dry cloth
  • Paper towels
  • Vinegar
  • Toothbrush
  1. Step 1

The best way to keep your sink fixtures sparkling and looking clean, as well disinfected, is to wash, wipe, and dry them every time you finish washing the dishes.

  2. Step 2

After you have finished all your dishes, and wiped down counters and stove tops as part of your regular dish washing routine, wash out the sink area, and wash down all the sink fixtures.

  3. Step 3

After you have washed the area down well, with a rag wipe it all down with straight vinegar.

Look closely and check for any calcium deposits, which may need a little more gentle wiping, but the vinegar should really cut those.

Wipe it all down one more time, with a dry rag to get it all as dry as you can, and then wipe it all down again, with a paper towel to be sure all the spots are gone.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you don't have paper towels just use a really dry cloth, and make sure all of it is super clean and no spots are left wet.
  • The vinegar really cuts mineral deposits. If your water is mineral free and leaves no deposits, then you could just dry your fixtures well, after washing them all. If your faucets are super dirty, scrubbing them well with a soft toothbrush will help you clean in all the nooks and crannies.
