Things You'll Need
- 12 hard taco shells
- 2 lbs. ground beef (thaw if using frozen beef)
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 bag shredded lettuce
- 3 cups tomatoes, diced
- Large skillet
- Large serving plate
- 12x12 baking sheet
- Spoon
- Spatula
- Salt
- Pepper

Place the 2 lbs. of ground beef in the large skillet. Add salt and pepper, using the spatula to stir the meat. Cook on medium-high temperature until all of the ground beef is brown.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the 12 hard taco shells onto the baking sheet and bake for about 3 to 5 minutes. The goal is to get the tacos warm and crispy.

Take the tacos out of the oven, and assemble them onto the large serving plate.

Add a little pinch of shredded cheese to the bottom of the taco shells. Spoon about a half-cup of meat into the 12 taco shells. Add more meat if you have some left after filling all 12 tacos.

Add the lettuce, diced tomatoes and shredded cheese to the tacos. Top each taco with sour cream.

Fill free to add other toppings, such as salsa, taco sauce, onions, guacamole and more. You can also replace the ground beef with grilled chicken strips.
