This article will tell you how to cut your hair by yourself.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Buy an electric shaver:

Cutting your own hair can be very economical because it will save you the monthly cost of visiting a professional hair stylist which can add up over a year. The nominal investment in an electric shaver can easily be paid off and will prove to be much more economical in the long- run. Make sure to purchase an electric shaver that has multiple attachments for varying lengths so that you can adjust the length for the sides and top of your head.

  2. Step 2

    Use more than one mirror:

Before you use your electric shaver to cut your hair you must have a setup so that you can properly see all angles of your head so that your haircut comes out straight and is of spa quality. Use more than one mirror so that you can see the front and back of your head. You can buy a full length mirror and put it behind you and use the mirror in your bathroom to view your front side.

  3. Step 3

    Practice, Practice, Practice:

Over time you will become an expert in how you want your hair to look. It is not easy cutting the back of your head so work slowly and if necessary consult a friend to make sure the back of your head has a straight line.
