Things You'll Need:
- Empty Pringles can
- Glue
- Scissors
- Fabric or paper
- Markers
- Googley eyes (optional)
- Paint (optional)
-
Step 1
If you didn't already do so, you'll need to eat all of the Pringles in the can before you can make a piggy bank. After wards, wrap and glue a pink piece of paper or fabric around the long end of the Pringles can. This will be your pig's body. Let the body dry.
-
Step 2
Now, cut out 4 feet and a tail from another pink piece of paper or fabric to make a piggy bank out of the Pringles can. Glue the feet in place where desired on the pink body you made earlier. Also, glue the pink tail on the end of the pig (opposite side of the can's opening). Let the feet and tail dry.
-
Step 3
It's time to make the head of the piggy bank. Cut out 2 ears from the pink paper or fabric in order to make a piggy bank. Curl the ears a bit and glue them on the upper side of the pig's body (opposite side of the tail end). Take those googley eyes and glue them onto each side of the pig's body (in front of the ears you glued on earlier). You can also make eyes by cutting out circles from white paper or fabric and making a dot in the middle of each circle with a marker.
-
Step 4
Cut out a large oval from a darker pink colored piece of paper or fabric so that you can make a piggy bank. With scissors, cut a slit in the middle of the oval (so cash can slide through). This dark pink oval will be your pig's nose. Feel free to draw on nostrils with a black marker. Glue the nose on the middle of the Pringles can's cover.
-
Step 5
Place the cover onto the can firmly so that you can continue to make a piggy bank. With a knife, cut a slit into the cover (where the nose's slit is). Now, either paint a smile onto your piggy bank underneath the nose, draw a smile with a marker, or cut out and glue the smile. You were now able to make a piggy bank! Feel free to start saving some cash.
