  • Miniature gourds
  • Drill
  • Embroidery needle or knitting needle
  • Twine

      Purchase a variety of different gourds. You can find gourds at gourd farms, craft suppliers (dried gourds) and many online sites. Make sure you get miniature gourds.

      Drill a hole through the center of the gourd using a drill with a fine bit.

      Using an embroidery needle or a knitting needle, pull the twine through each gourd. Make sure to alternate between the different gourds. Tie two knots on both sides of each gourd to secure it in place. Continue with this process every 6 inches.
