Things You'll Need:
- 1 ¼ pounds shelled un-salted walnuts
- ½ pound shelled un-salted almonds
- ½ pound shelled un-salted pecans
- ¼ pound shelled un-salted sunflower seeds
- ¼ pound shelled un-salted pumpkin seeds
- ¼ pound shelled un-salted cashews
- ½ pound raisins.
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine nuts and seeds in a large roasting pan.
-
Step 2
Roast for about 20 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Remove nuts from oven and allow cooling.
-
Step 3
Add raisins and toss well. This recipe only calls for dark raisins, however, be creative. Add a mix of golden and dark raisins to the nut mix. Or for that extra fruit and nut treat, add a mixture of dried fruit bits to the nuts.
-
Step 4
Store roasted nuts in an airtight container until ready to serve. The recipe makes about 6 cups of roasted nuts.
