Make a Money Origami Bangle

This money origami bangle design could be used to make a cash gift seem a little more personal, or you could make your own and wear it as jewelry. After all it's a modern equivalent of gold bangles which have been around for thousands of years.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 10 dollar bills
  1. Step 1

Fold all your bills in half along the length of the bill. If you'd like to alternate colors on your money origami bangle, and have it come out like the one in the picture, fold half with the back of the dollar bill out, and half with the front of the dollar bill out.

  2. Step 2

Fold all your bills in half again the other direction.

  3. Step 3

To join them together you need to link them in a zig zag like this. This is basically the same method you may have seen used to make origami chains of gum wrappers.

  4. Step 4

Fold over the extra dollar bill ends on the second to last dollar and tuck them into the pocket on the last dollar.

  5. Step 5

When you get to the end insert the last bill into the first bill and fold the ends over exactly like you've done with all the rest of the sections. This should finish off your money origami bangle. It's time to try it on.
