   Choose what type of vacation you are looking for. If you life where it freezing outside in the winter you might not want to go to a ski lodge, but if you life where it is sunny year round then somewhere cold and snowy may be just right for you. For vacations for snow sports you should look into popular ski resorts such as in Colorado.

   For vacations where you want to be on the beach in the middle of the winter you should check out the Caribbean. The Islands that are in the southern Caribbean such as Barbados well be where it is warmest in the winter.

3. To book your trip make sure you compare different price sites. You can go to www.bookingbuddy.com to compare the major travel sites to make that you get the best price. If you are leaving the country make sure you get you a passport. This will take between 4 and 6 weeks to get a passport you need 2 photos, ID, Emergency contact,phone number, birth certificate, trip date, and info on where you will be going. You should also get a visa.
