Working out stress from long board room meets or from just a clerical job involves taking a mental health time off day. Get in a good physical workout to take from the mind over worked and stressed out state. Add these three steps to work off stress.

  1. Step 1

    Eat the same time everyday and start your exercise regiment of walking or jogging for 20 to 30 minutes. Carry light weight to build up your upper arms where stress tends to settle and cause discomfort. Exercise such as walking and jogging clears the mind of stresses and helps you to think more clearly to get through though long conference meetings.

  2. Step 2

    After the aerobic exercises, allow for a five minute cool down period. This cool down period also eases the stresses of the day just as the workout because you have time for relaxation. Do not suddenly sit after working out stress with exercise, keep moving.

  3. Step 3

    Work out stress by not overloading your body with calories. A heavy torso is not conducive to working out stress. The belly can hold harmful chemicals that can make you sicker than being stressed out.
