Today's world is a complex place. The hustle and bustle makes it hard to focus on the Lord.

If you start your day with God, you put your entire day's work in His most capable hands.

This is how to do it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bible CD
  • CD Player
  • Persistence
  • Belief
  • Faith
  1. Step 1

    Buy the Bible on CD.

  2. Step 2

Say a prayer before you begin.

Ask for your heart to be opened and that you will understand the message that you're listening to on that day.

  3. Step 3

Play the selection you've chosen. Personally, I like to start the day with Proverbs or Psalms, listening to one chapter per day.

You may have to listen to the verse or chapter several times. It's amazing how your attention can wander from the message.

  4. Step 4

Seek understanding of the verses you've listened to.

Pray on it. Think about it. Let it focus your mind on God.

  5. Step 5

    And there you have it.

    Pray.
    Listen.
    Seek understanding.
    Pray again.

I usually listen to my CD while I'm driving to work. As a commuter, I have plenty of time to focus my day on the Lord.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you're praying or listening to the Word while driving, be careful. Safety first!
