Everyone knows that the best way to lose weight is to eat less. How do we eat less without feeling hungry? We shrink our stomachs so they feel full on less! Shrinking your stomach is easy to do but requires honesty and dedication. Learn how to lose weight with this technique.
Things You'll Need
Take an accurate account of what you normally eat. You should do this for a week. People eat less when they have to write down everything they eat, so you want to record what you eat for a few days to get a more accurate record. Be sure to be completely honest.
Reduce what you eat. Try to reduce each meal by ¼. If you ate a whole plate of spaghetti and three bananas for lunch, this week try to eat a whole plate of spaghetti and one banana. Reduce all of your meals and snacks accordingly. Eat this way for two weeks.
On the fourth week, reduce your portions to half of what they were when you started. (Ex. You would eat half the plate of spaghetti and a banana.) Eat these smaller portions and you will lose weight. This sounds very simple but it is very effective.
Tips & Warnings
- By slowly changing how much you are eating, your stomach will adjust and you won't feel hungry.
- A lot of people eat more than they should because they cook T.V. dinners that are too big. You can refrigerate half of the food in Tupperware containers and eat it for another meal.
- This is how skinny girls eat. They eat less than the normal portions and eventually you don't know the difference.
- If you splurge one day it will stretch your stomach for a few days, just go back to the reduced portions again and you should be able to shrink it again.
