Roaches are some of the most annoying and most difficult pest to get rid of, but there is a way to do it. This article will tell you how to get rid of roaches.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first thing that you will want to do is clean your house. Make sure there is no food out and that there are no dirty dishes. Make sure to sweep up any crumbs that may have fallen in the floor and make sure the kitchen is clean. Also check any boxes of food ex// cereal and see if roaches have worked their way into them. If they have throw that food away.

  2. Step 2

After cleaning everything and gotten rid of the contaminated food, the next thing that you will do is put all of your remaining food in the refrigerator. Doing this will keep the food away from the roaches and sometimes they will leave.

  3. Step 3

After doing the first two steps put something down to kill the roaches. Boric acid is good and you can get it in a gel or powder depending upon what you want. Make sure to get the corners and any cracks or crevices that may exist. You can also buy traps that you put in corners of the room and you can get these for about 2 dollars. By doing this you should hopefully solve your roach problem.

on 10/27/2009 I stored things in the oven to keep them away from bugs and things when I lived in Panama. Then I got a cat, he's great! He loves to eat roaches - the ultimate skittering toy. Now he's back with me in The States and learning to eat more cat food.
